_________________________________ Unlike the patients’ houses, the clinic itself should encourage focus and stress reduction. A reduced material palette of concrete, steel, and wood proposes a calm but rich spatial experience.
_________________________________ Much like the southern houses, the staff offices share the characteristics of framed construction (Albeit with steel members) and a view towards nature. As medical staff workspaces, they face north towards diffuse light, which is optimal for staff productivity and stress reduction. The green walls double as a visual barrier for patients, preventing anxiety from seeing any medical equipment during their entrance.
